Owned by Kris Decker & Monica Decker, the company has been serving the Southeast for 6 years, and during that time has been fortunate to attract a very diverse group of clients.
Kris Decker, Commercial Photographer
Considered one of the best Architectural Photographers in the Southeast, Kris Decker is dedicated to creating the best imagery possible for his clients. He combines unique angles, professional lighting equipment, and time tested lighting techniques to create images that exceed expectations. Though most well known for his Architectural Photography, Kris is very well rounded in his abilities as a Commercial Photographer. He likes working with people and has always enjoyed photographing his natural surroundings. Kris earned a Bachelor of Science in Business from The University of Montana. After many years of studying and practicing photography, Kris was able to combine his knowledge of the business world with his passion for photography, transforming his most treasured hobby into his dream job.
- Kris has been a member of the American Society of Media Photographers since 2006. ASMP is the premiere resource for publication photographers to gain education on industry standards and business ethics.
- In 2010, Kris became a member of the Association of Independent Architectural Photographers. AIAP connects photography buyers with the world’s most talented and respected architectural photographers.
Monica Decker, Manager of Operations
When she’s not assisting Kris at their photo shoots, Monica handles the scheduling, accounts payable/accounts receivable, marketing, and managing Firewater’s website and social media sites. Monica earned a Bachelor of Science in Business from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and enjoys keeping the business organized and on track so that Kris can focus on creating. Monica also models for Millie Lewis Model/Talent Agency in Greenville, SC and Evolution Talent Agency in Charlotte, NC. She is able to contribute her knowledge and experience towards planning, styling and staging at Firewater Photography’s photo shoots.
