Come check out the Art+Architecture Photography Exhibition tonight! Art+Architecture 2011 is a unique juried exhibit produced by Upstate Visual Arts and the American Institute of Architects AIA. The exhibit will consist of architecturally themed photographs taken within a 40 mile radius of the Greenville area. Artists are encouraged to look beyond the whole building to its aspects or component parts. Images will focus on textures, details, the way the building has aged or weathered, the way it interacts with users, or the way the sun or rain hits it. Photographs will highlight what we take for granted so that viewers may find a new appreciation for the buildings they pass everyday. This event is part of Upstate Visual Arts’ commitment of outreach to other local organizations and we are pleased to be a part of Architecture Month in Greenville presented in part by the American Institute of Architects (AIA).
